i think they do.
thats why they keep clinging onto flowers camouflaging themselves?

Perhaps they treat the flowers as a reflection of themselves, yet both flower and flutter fades away so soon.

haha. cool stuff. mmmmmm for me, the image i had was of a brown butterfly flit floating away amongst the dark bark of trees. it's like it counted itself part of the dull trunk, you know? that's why i was wondering.
